Los Tucanes de Tijuana
Formed in Tijuana in 1987 and led by Mario Quintero Lara, Los Tucanes de Tijuana are pioneers of Norteño music and global ambassadors of Regional Mexican sound. Their signature style blends accordion, bajo sexto, corridos, cumbia and romantic ballads into what fans call El Tucanazo. Los Tucanes de Tijuana have sold more than 15 million albums, recorded more than 600 songs and released more than 34 albums, earning 30 platinum and 34 gold certifications. They won a Latin Grammy for 365 Días and became the first Norteño band to place six titles simultaneously on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. Los Tucanes de Tijuana also have received international film honors and a star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame. For nearly four decades, they have energized audiences with performances that range from heartfelt love songs to corridos rooted in everyday life and folklore, continuing to fill dance floors and arenas on both sides of the border.
Código FN
Código FN is a Regional Mexican music group from Sinaloa. The band’s first video was released in 2012 for the song “El Mayor,” with special guest — and longtime friend and ally — Roberto Tapia. It generated massive interest. The group’s first proper single, “Me Muchas Gustas,” was issued in June and quickly rose to the Top Ten of Billboard’s Regional Mexican chart. Código FN’s debut album, Te Amaré Más, was released in November and entered the chart in the number four spot.
