Code of Conduct

The Pacific Amphitheatre is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable entertainment experience for those attending events and our team members.

Collectively, the OC Fair, The Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar at the OC Fair and The Actions Sports Arena are secured by OC Fair Safety & Security team, the Orange County Sherriff’s Department, and Costa Mesa Police Department.

This Code of Conduct is intended to ensure all that all guests have the best experience possible, free from distraction or interruption.

With this goal in mind, we ask that all guests visiting the Pacific Amphitheatre practice respect and courtesy for others by adhering to the following:

  • Be respectful and courteous to everyone attending the performance, including guests and staff.
  • Please place trash in appropriate receptacles.
  • The Pacific Amphitheatre, The OC Fair, The Action Sports Arena and The Hangar are non-smoking, non-vaping venues.
  • Guests are permitted to sit or stand during an event. Provided they are occupying the area in front of their ticketed seat. For everyone’s safety, standing in aisles and/or on chairs is strictly forbidden.
  • Keep your ticket and/or pass with you at all times.
  • Accessible seating is for those with accessibility needs, until such time as these seats are released to the general public. The Americans with Disabilities Act considers misrepresentation of a disability in order to secure seating as fraud. Management reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding misrepresentation, which may result in relocation, revocation of tickets or ejection.
  • The resale of tickets on OC Fair/Pacific Amphitheatre grounds is strictly prohibited.
  • Weapons or any item that could be considered inherently dangerous are strictly prohibited.
  • Refrain from unruly, disruptive, or illegal behavior.
  • Fighting is strictly prohibited. If you have an issue with another guest, please reach out to an usher or security officer for assistance.
  • Refrain from interfering with the event in any way.
  • Do not throw anything in the venue. Throwing any object that could injure any person in the venue may lead to ejection.
  • Refrain from using foul or abusive language in this environment.
  • Do not get on the stage. Violators will be removed from the venue and subject to arrest. (The only exception to this would be the very rare occasion when a performer invites a member of the audience onto the stage.)
  • The destruction, defacing, vandalizing of any aspect of the performance venue is strictly forbidden. Violators will be removed from the venue and referred to onsite law enforcement.
  • Refrain from wearing any clothing which might be considered offensive to other guests.
  • Avoid over-consumption of alcohol and intoxication. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be referred to Safety and Security personnel. Management reserves the right to deny entry into the venue and/or deny services to guests displaying visible signs of impairment/intoxication.
  • The use of illegal drugs and/or substances is strictly prohibited at the OC Fair and inside the Pacific Amphitheatre.
  • All State and Local laws apply inside the OC Fair and The Pacific Amphitheatre.
  • For your safety and the safety of those around you, follow instructions from the usher staff, security staff and law enforcement.
  • Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct could result in ejection without refund, loss of ticket privileges for future events, and/or possible arrest and prosecution.
