Pacific Amphitheatre | July 29
OC Fair Summer Concert Series
Cypress Hill makes their long-awaited Pacific Amphitheatre debut, bringing one of the most influential sounds in hip-hop history to the OC Fair stage.
More than three decades after exploding onto the scene, B-Real, Sen Dog and DJ Muggs remain pioneers of West Coast hip-hop and cultural icons whose music reshaped the genre. Named after a street in South Gate, California, Cypress Hill burst into the spotlight in 1991 with their groundbreaking self-titled debut, delivering standout tracks like “How I Could Just Kill a Man.” Their follow-up album, “Black Sunday,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, went triple platinum and cemented the group’s place in music history with classics like “Insane in the Brain.”
With their unmistakable sound, blending hypnotic beats, Latin influences and razor-sharp lyricism, Cypress Hill became the first Latino hip-hop group to achieve platinum and multi-platinum success and the first rap group to have two albums in the Billboard Top 10 simultaneously. Today, their electrifying live performances continue to captivate audiences globally, proving their legacy and influence are stronger than ever.
Joining Cypress Hill is Ozomatli, the genre-defying Los Angeles collective known for turning every show into a joyful musical celebration. Blending hip-hop, salsa, cumbia, funk, reggae and rock into a high-energy global sound, Ozomatli has built a reputation for explosive live performances and a socially conscious spirit that has earned them fans worldwide and made them a familiar favorite at the OC Fair.
Two legendary L.A. bands, one unforgettable summer night.
